ZEOS invests 8,000 BAM in the improvement of separate collection of e-waste in Ključ
Three metal containers for electrical and electronic waste intended for the recycling yard in Busije represent concrete support to the local community and the creation of a more accessible separate waste collection system.
As part of the project "Improving the waste management system in local communities 2026", UKP2026, ZEOS eko-sistem d.o.o. implemented an investment for PUC Rad d.o.o. Ključ, with a total value of 8,248.50 BAM. The investment includes the purchase of three metal containers, each with a volume of 5 m³, for the separate collection of electrical and electronic waste at the location of the Recycling Yard in Busie.
What devices can citizens dispose of?
Containers are intended for separate disposal of the following types of e-waste:
- Televisions and monitors: old televisions, monitors and similar equipment.
- Small electrical and electronic waste: vacuum cleaners, irons, hair dryers, mixers, toasters, kettles, telephones and other small appliances, etc.
- Large electrical and electronic waste: washing machines, dishwashers, electric stoves and other large household appliances.
Appliances that are no longer in use should not be forgotten in basements, garages and pantries, nor end up in containers for mixed municipal waste or in nature. An accessible place for their handover is an important prerequisite for more responsible treatment of this type of waste.
The role of the operator: concrete investments for a functional local system
The development of an e-waste management system requires more than just an invitation to citizens to separate waste. Infrastructure, cooperation with utility companies and clear information on where and how to hand over worn-out devices are needed.
It
is precisely such investments that show the practical importance of the operator ZEOS eko-sistem d.o.o.: connecting the e-waste management system with the needs of local communities and creating concrete conditions for separate collection. By supporting the municipal infrastructure, the work of local partners is facilitated, and responsible waste management becomes simpler and more accessible to citizens.
The investment in Ključ is a contribution to the development of the local collection network and cooperation between operators and the utility sector. Separate handover of devices is the first step towards their further appropriate disposal and use of materials that can be returned to use.
Invitation to the citizens of Ključ
We invite citizens to hand over worn-out electrical and electronic devices to the designated place in the Recycling Yard in Busije and thus contribute to the preservation of the cleanliness of their local community.
For information on working hours and how to hand over devices, please contact PUC Rad d.o.o. Ključ by phone: 037 661-226.
Responsible management of e-waste begins with an accessible drop-off point, and is developed through the joint action of citizens, utility companies and system operators.
ZEOS eko-sistem d.o.o. will continue to be the biggest driver of change in the field of electrical and electronic waste management in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we invite all companies and citizens to join our ecological community and dispose of their electrical waste through ZEOS's sustainable, legal and authorized disposal system. You can fill out an order through our website www.zeos.ba in the section for electrical waste.
