Fees

Under the aforementioned rulebook and the concept of extended producer responsibility, all importers, distributors and manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment that place it on the market for the first time are obliged to pay two types of fees:

• The general fee is paid to the FBIH Environmental Protection Fund upon submission of the report and amounts to 30 KM regardless of whether they are in the operator's system or not,
• The fee for the management of electrical and electronic waste is paid to the system operator ZEOS eko-sistem d.o.o.; if you do not have a contract with the system operator, importers are obliged to submit the report directly to the FBIH Environmental Protection Fund, according to the fees from the rulebook.
• Regardless of whether they are in the operator's system or submit the report directly to the Environmental Protection Fund, obligors are required to enter the report into the FBIH Waste Management Information System by 31.3 for the previous year, link https://www.otpadfbih.ba/

The difference is in the management fee, which is significantly lower if paid through the operator ZEOS eko-sistem d.o.o., because the prescribed fee of the Environmental Protection Fund is considered a penalty fee.

Distributors registered outside the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Distributors that are not registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina but sell electrical and electronic equipment on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the aforementioned Rulebook, are obliged to be part of the System Operator through which they should report and pay a fee to fulfill their obligation in accordance with the legislation of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
