One charge and then oblivion?
We have all found ourselves in the same situation at least once. The battery is nearing completion, the road is ahead of us, and the charger is nowhere to be found. The solution is simple: let's buy a new one.
The problem is that this "temporary" charger often becomes just another device that ends up in a drawer after a while, forgotten among cables, adapters and old electronics.
Although small, chargers contain copper, electronic components and other valuable materials. When we no longer use them, they should not end up disposed of for years without a purpose, but in a recycling system where their raw materials can get a new purpose.
On the occasion of International E-Waste Day, October 14, we remind you that a sustainable relationship with electronics begins long before the device becomes waste.
👉 Before buying a new charger, make sure you already have a suitable one at home.
👉 If you no longer use your old charger or it is defective, hand it over for recycling.
Small appliances may take up little space, but when they are forgotten in drawers, they represent wasted resources that we can put back to use. 🌱♻️
Use longer. Accumulate less. Recycle responsibly.
